Tutorial access¶
Tutorials that use one role offer two ways to start. Use the option that suits your session; the exercise is the same.
Use an existing role tab¶
If you opened the role tabs in the first tutorial, choose the tab named in your next tutorial. Check its Firefox container label and the account and role shown by the application's profile indicator. Continue in that tab.
There is no need to launch another set of tabs for each tutorial. For launcher setup, see the Demo multi-role tour.
Sign in with a username and password¶
Open the application address supplied by your trainer and sign in using the account credentials supplied to you. The account must have the role required by the tutorial on the training dataset. Check your account and active dataset before starting. Ask your trainer if the required access is missing.
Ordinary sign-in does not require the Firefox demo launcher. Use a supported browser; do not enter the demo launcher ticket in the password field.
Choose the appropriate role¶

Follow the role stated by the tutorial. A Reviewer or Approver role alone does not grant the Editor's authoring actions. Access also depends on the active dataset. See Roles and Access.
Keep the exercise in the same tab when moving between the map and list: parcel selection is retained within that tab, and other tabs can have different selections. Use only synthetic training information and the examples assigned by your trainer.
The first tutorial requires several roles to demonstrate a complete workflow. Follow its role-tab instructions rather than attempting every step with one fixed account. In a real installation, use your own assigned account.
